I just love these two. I was lucky enough to meet Nicole a few years back, after her and my best friend connected on a backpacking trip in Asia. Fast forward a few years and Nicole is moving cross country to Seattle from NY, and we were so excited to welcome her to the PNW. Watching her meet and fall in love with her person over the last year has been such a special experience, I get to witness all kinds of relationships in this industry, but there is something so special about the way they are just it for one another.

It was a rainy November day, but that didn’t stop us from rolling up our pants and wading thigh deep through the river to get to the trail to Big Four. We had the entire rock field to ourselves, with the lightest drizzle. They has some of the most fun, intimate, wild, playful, sweet energy i’ve ever had the joy of shooting. I don’t think a single one of us thought about anything other than how much fun we were having, despite our damp socks and red frigid hands. I basically chased them around the field for the extent of our time, and it was just so. much. fun.
