a weekend in the mountains and among the wildflowers
It’s hard to describe the magic of Rainier to someone who hasn’t walked her trails in peak summer, wildflowers carpeting the hills and light stretching along the rockfaces until late evening hours. The way you start your adventure in deep forest, with sounds of rushing water and butterflies trailing your path. Or when you’re so close to the glaciers you can hear the rockfall and see the debris. If there is anywhere in the world that I define as perfection, it is in these alpine meadows.
From a weekend with my honey, 2 nights spent under a full moon.
