Some people you meet, and they are like walking talking examples of how the universe brings people together. That was these two for me. It was obvious we would get along, not many people are down to meet at 7AM on a freezing December day, before the workday starts, to catch sunrise in an empty city. We shot for less than an hour, but these are some of my very favorite photos. For as much as I shoot in landscapes, I have such a heart for cities as well. I loved questioning them about their life in Manhattan, and dreams for their relationship in the future, and Anna and I grabbed breakfast afterwards and dove into all things life. My hands were so cold but my heart was so fulfilled. I can hardly wait for their epic NYC elopement and Italian wedding next autumn.
