Jennifer & Matt
Jennifer was the very first of my 2020 COVID brides. We booked three weeks out, and she picked the location based off of one of my engagement sessions from last season. We connected immediately, her authenticity, bold and distinct style and personality, and strong desire just to marry her best friend resonated so hard with me. Their original big wedding plans were for the following day, Saturday May 16th.
She got ready in their best friend’s van, the father of whom also officiated. A couple of my very favorite past clients. I was also lucky enough to have my bestie alongside of me, Piper to do her bouquet and epic florals. Jennifer rolled up in the van, and got ready on the side of the road overlooking the gorge. Her unbelievable Gaila gown dotted in stars and celestial vibes fit her boho biker vibe perfectly.
They did their first look and read private vows, right in the middle of the little road leading to the dead end at the shore of the river. Laughing through tears before they even saw each other, it was such a special moment to document. We ventured up to the sage brush overlook where Piper had set up a ceremony space, and they officially wed as the sun set slowly into the horizon.
