I feel so unbelievably lucky to connect with similar minded people who trust my vision and want to experience extreme corners of the earth alongside of me. When Rae reached out and said it looked like our Ireland dates would cross paths (I was speaking at Bold & Brazen workshop in Cork, Ireland) I couldn’t have been more stoked.

Forecasts were rainy and windy, but what else did we really expect on this tiny island in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean? The day came and we were all shocked to experience a (albeit, windy AF) lovely afternoon overlooking dramatic crashing waves. We enjoyed a couple of beers and chatted about their epic adventures, and then spent the remainder of daylight strolling cliffside along one of the most epic views I have ever experienced. The trust they so effortlessly showed me gave me the confidence to shoot at my best. It’s not every shoot that I instruct my clients to walk a solid 15 minutes ahead of me, and just trust them to explore in a way that works for photographing.
