Piper and I connected with Abby and Jack last winter, and when we went to Kauai were so excited to shoot with them. We ventured up to their favorite spot in Waimea that overlooked the Napali Coast, to find a thick blanket of clouds with absolutely no view. Luckily they are some of the kindest most laid back people, and down for a little adventure. It was freezing and misty, and Abby was covered in goosebumps that Jack continually tried to warm off of her. We hiked barefoot up the red earth to a tiny clearing where we had an epic view across the canyon. I loved watching the sun patch pop in and out of the clouds, and could never get enough views of the waterfalls. The next time i’m in Kauai I am absolutely splurging for the helicopter tour.
