HI— It’s Marci

In the last few years, Home in the Mountains has become the most meaningful aspect of my career. The community I’ve witnessed evolve while sharing these once-in-a-lifetime experiences has fulfilled me in the most beautiful ways possible. What you can expect at one of my retreats is an open heart, a safe environment to learn and experiment, and a community that will become the pillars of your photography business.

Expect this retreat to feel like a warm hug, a trip with your best friends. We will laugh until we cry and stay up too late sharing the stories that made us. I will challenge you creatively and ask you to seek inspiration in the present, from your heart.

Together, we explore the world’s most spectacular locations. Together, we explore and connect with ourselves.

“I think that attending Marci’s workshop was

the best thing that I have ever done for my business and for myself, as an artist.

Marci is the kindest and most generous teacher that I could have asked for. She is not only willing, but excited to share her knowledge (which is extensive) and her experiences. She was so happy to answer all of my questions and genuinely thrilled to help me grow my business and further my skills.

This kindness and openness was reflected in every single aspect of Home in the Mountains. Every detail of the workshop from the shoots that we did to her presentations to the way that she structured the weekend was crafted to create a safe environment for us to learn and grow as artists in a beautifully vulnerable way. I really can’t thank Marci enough for providing this space for me and for creating such a fulfilling experience.”

“Marci's "Home in the Mountains Switzerland" is the first workshop I've ever attended, and now I don't think I could ever attend someone else's. From our first interaction when I submitted my application, I sensed that this workshop would be really different. Marci's approach was reliable and intentional, and she always communicated the expectations clearly. From the accommodations to the lessons, she was incredibly approachable and taught in a way that made storytelling and nature-based compositions very tangible. She is truly the expert of "artful compositions for shooting in nature" and I learned so much from her throughout the week. I was able to immediately apply the new knowledge to several shoots.. styled to perfection, might I add.. and that in itself was SO empowering and exciting.

During the workshop, Marci shared that her approach to business is to lead with generosity. This was so apparent during our time together and she truly led with generosity the entire week.

I don't have adequate words to express my experience, so all I can say is thank you!”

“Home in the Mountains was an unreal experience. Unbeatable views, stunning shoots in some of the prettiest places in the world, learning from an insanely talented photographer like Marci, and getting to connect with attendees from all over the world. I have gained so much from this workshop. I have connected with myself in new ways, connected to my work in new ways, and connected with so many other amazing photographers along the way.

I have never felt more confident in my ability to document love and to do it well, to truly tell a story and create images that you can feel.

I have a whole new set of tools to use at each and every shoot moving forward. I would pay any amount to get to relive this past week but am walking away with priceless knowledge that will only enhance my business from here on out. I can feel the difference this workshop has made on me in so many different ways, and I could see it in my work immediately. Forever grateful for the opportunity to attend such an incredible workshop. Thank you Marci & crew <3”
