Trusting and investing in Marci as an educator and mentor has been the best decision I’ve made as a small business owner. It can be difficult to navigate the extremely broad field of guides, courses, content days, and workshops the photography industry offers us on a daily basis, but please hear me when I say that Marci is a photography and business almanac who will elevate not only your business protocols, but also your confidence and love for the medium. I will say it again: the single best thing I’ve done for my business was investing in Marci as an educator. Look no further for someone to walk you through your learning process; first, as a guide, ultimately, as a friend.

If you're looking for a mentorship that is genuinely going to be worth the money - you have found it with Marci. It was important to me to find someone whose work I truly admired, but also someone who was going to treat me like a friend and Marci was above and beyond all my expectations. I've attended workshops before, but as someone who is slightly introverted, it's easy to find yourself fading into the background with a lot of attendees, so I realized what I really needed was a mentorship and one on one learning. We met for breakfast the morning of, and I felt like we had been friends forever. I knew she had a lot to teach me - she is a freaking queen behind the camera - but I was blown away at how much knowledge she was willing to share with me. We talked about booking clients, pricing, shooting, and more - and then we went out on a live shoot she and taught me how she poses, tips and tricks, and let me use her lenses, challenged me to get more creative, and it was a great time. After we went through editing process, and her workflow which was SO HELPFUL. And she gave me access to her guides, pricing, and things that I never expected her to let me see. I got SO much more than I expected, and I left with a new friend, and SO many new ideas. She was so giving with all her knowledge and I cannot recommend a mentorship with her enough. For real. I'd take another one, or attend one of her workshops, in a HEARTBEAT!

I was in a creative rut when I (very much so on a whim), inquired for a mentorship with Marci. I had been following her on social media for a while, and her photos and words made me feel warm before I even met her. During our call, I felt supported, seen, appreciated, and above all else, I felt like I made a real friend. She openly gave advice on my images and my own little photo business, and I left feeling inspired and excited (for the first time in a while) to create photographs. My confidence in my own work truly began to bloom after our call.

Marci is the best of the best and all of my loved ones know her name because of how much our time together truly meant to me. Working with her is the best thing you can do for yourself, I’d do it all again in a heartbeat. <3

I think that attending Marci’s Home in the Mountains workshop was the best thing that I have ever done for my business and for myself, as an artist. Marci is the kindest and most generous teacher that I could have asked for. She is not only willing, but excited to share the her knowledge (which is extensive) and her experiences. She was so happy to answer all of my questions and genuinely thrilled to help me grow my business and further my skills.

This kindness and openness was reflected in every single aspect of Home in the Mountains. Every detail of the workshop from the shoots that we did to her presentations to the way that she structured the weekend was crafted to create a safe environment for us to learn and grow as artists in a beautifully vulnerable way. I really can’t thank Marci enough for providing this space for me and for creating such a fulfilling experience.

Marci's "Home in the Mountains Switzerland" is the first workshop I've ever attended, and now I don't think I could ever attend someone else's. From our first interaction when I submitted my application, I sensed that this workshop would be really different. Marci's approach was reliable and intentional, and she always communicated the expectations clearly. From the accommodations to the lessons, she was incredibly approachable and taught in a way that made storytelling and nature-based compositions very tangible. She is truly the expert of "artful compositions for shooting in nature" and I learned so much from her throughout the week. I was able to immediately apply the new knowledge to several shoots.. styled to perfection, might I add.. and that in itself was SO empowering and exciting. During the workshop, Marci shared that her approach to business is to lead with generosity. This was so apparent during our time together and she truly led with generosity the entire week. I don't have adequate words to express my experience, so all I can say is thank you!!
