Karli and Kevin are some of my best friends from college, I was even a bridesmaid alongside Piper, who was doing florals. This wedding was truly a celebration of every part of their relationship - hosted on the banks of the lake where they met, a community of friends and family coming together to bring intention in every moment. From yoga breaths during the ceremony to their private first look and vows at the very spot Kev proposed, the day was filled to the brim with emotion. It was a challenge and a joy to be able to show my love in the form of documenting it all, there is nothing in the world as fulfilling to me as being able to share my skills in this way.

Everything this day held meaning to the very core. The words Wes’s brother in law shared aligned with the epic landscape that was the backdrop, and when they kissed to make it official my entire body got chills as I felt overcome with a sense of the grandiosity of the setting paired with the richness of their love.

We celebrated at home all day with the entire family, and then I followed them to Zion Under Canvas where they recited their vows on the front porch of their tent, played in the sunflowers, and watched the sun first illuminate all it touched to the most beautiful pink i’d ever seen, then dip under the rock and head back to twilight. Full circle.
