I got the amazing opportunity to mentor one of my favorite photographers for the second time, Jenna, of Mark and Jenna. I wanted to make it something super epic, since she was coming up to the North West from Texas in August, peak time for some North Cascades action. Sara and Sean made the driving trek (4 hours each way) and the literal trek (a few miles up the mountain) to be our incredible real subjects. I loved mentoring in this way, in my most natural element. Seeing how the subjects fall naturally into the landscape and watching the surroundings shift perspective as we travel up the mountain. It was a perfect day.
