There’s nothing better than shooting for your best friends. We packed up our cars and pup and headed to one of my very favorite places in Washington for a few nights of sleeping under the starts and swimming in the recently melted alpine lake. We pitched our tents right next to the lake, and shot their engagements as the sun dipped below the peaks. We wandered through the meadows, the gain in elevation revealing more and more peaks beyond the horizon, and returned to camp to a campfire and dinner. Food just tastes better when it’s cooked outside.
We woke up early and spent a few more hours dipping in and out of the icy blue water.
