Shawn & James

Shawn and James are the kind of couple who i’m so excited to meet from the start, they came in with such an intentional and special vision, and then hand over the reigns to me to create freely. James spent time in New Mexico a lot growing up, and it’s become such a special place to them as a couple. I met them in Taos and we did a full day tour around the city’s most beautiful places. We started at James’s grandfathers old house, in the orchard, and ended in the fields watching a storm from afar. Shawn wore jewelry from James’ mom’s turquoise collection, and we recreated an old photo of his parent’s on their wedding day, with the same blue of the sky blanketed behind them.
