It was so fun to plan this surprise proposal with Ryan, the most thoughtful dude i’ve ever had the joy to work with. It was so important to him to create a special experience for Laurelle to officially ask her to spend their lives together, and bringing me down to Florida was just one of the many things he did. It was a Saturday morning in May, puffy clouds and pinks painted across the sky. They wandered into my path, the sole person on the beach at 7AM. He got down on one knee and I got to be the one to witness it. We then shot around the little town of Palm Beach, tucking into the tiled nooks and fountain lain streets. It was so fun to get to know them, Laurelle and I shared so many similarities (down to having studied abroad in the same city- and LIVING in the same apartment, WHAT are the odds). We even stumbled upon the same juice bar after having separated, but it was so fun to run into them cause we got to hang out more. They’re awesome, I love them. Thanks for the opportunity, Ryan.
